Swimming:
We have our own private jetty for your use if you want to go swimming. Along our shoreline there are also several quiet sandy coves perfect for a dip. Our beaches are also a good spots for an evening BBQ!
Fishing:
In lake Örlen there is pike, perch, pike-perch etc. During August and September it is also possible to fish for crayfish. You need a fishing permit to go fishing, which you can buy from us. We also have a small rowing boat for rent and we can lend you fishing rods.
Canoeing:
Parts of the year it is possible to paddle all the way from lake Örlen to lake Vättern. (Örlen is connected to lake Viken, which, in turn, is connected to Göta canal.) If you wish to go canoeing, please let us know in advance, and we can arrange it for you.
Animals and nature:
You will always find lots of horses in various ages, three cats and a dog at Kopparkulla. Our fields and pastures are extremely picturesque and perfect for walks with a picnic.
Mini Spa:
Take the opportunity to rent our mini spa with a bubble-bath, a sauna and a relaxation area,-with a terrific view of the lake!
You find many interesting places close by. For instance, there is Forsvik, with its famous lock. You also find Karlsborg famous for its fortress and the picturesque town Hjo within 30-40 km distance. You find events in Tibro here.
If you are biking along side Göta canal we can arrange to pick you up together with your bikes and packing. Or, we can deliver you to a chosen spot.
